Theatre Travels is a Sydney-based company that aims to demystify the theatre industry by creating equal opportunities for Artists and Audiences to engage with the Arts. Through frequent and accessible reviews, as well as high-quality productions designed with equal opportunities for Emerging and Established artists to seek employment, Theatre Travels is an example in the Independent theatre sector in Sydney by offering an inclusive theatrical experience.

Put simply, Theatre Travels strives to encourage more audiences to see more theatre, and seeks to create pathways for Artists at all points of their career.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Theatre Travels is to provide emerging and established artists with equal pathways to theatrical opportunities, and to demystify, excite and inform a wider audience of theatre-goers. Through frequent and accessible theatre reviews, as well as high-quality productions, we want to make theatre your experience of choice, and support a greater involvement in the Independent Arts Sector.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT US

We are a female led company and giving more opportunities to women in the creative and management roles of the theatre is a top priority for us! We like to tell stories that are relevant and that we know our modern, woke audiences are going to enjoy, be challenged by or relish.

We started as a small Instagram account and from there have developed a reviewing platform, a production company and we have so much more we can’t wait to share with you in the coming months, and years.
